as a follow up to Sunbather, this hits all the right notes. I'd say it's more melodic, as opposed to the wall of sound style of Sunbather, so in a way it's even more accessible than that album. in any case, New Bermuda is a fantastic black metal experience. palehorse666
I am floating in your music. If I had to describe determination, genius, honesty, devotion, soul and pure feeling to a Mars resident, I would play this record. Dziękuję z całego serca za muzykę !!
Indeed the riff in II 1:29.... wow. moax-j
The music on Rheia works in tandem with the lyrics to paint a picture of love and hate overlapped, and the effort to reconcile the two. This is an astounding work that forced me through that process, from resignation to resistance to resolution and acceptance.
I think this album would be a pretty good intro to black metal for someone who might listen to rock but is wary of taking the plunge! There's a really nice variety of clean and harsh vocals and harder and softer tracks here. menee

Answers the question of where Krallice would go after "Years Past Matter." Completely unclassifiable, the songs are simultaneously compact and complex. The playing and musicanship is breathtaking... "Wastes of Ocean" into "Over Spirit" being a prime example. It must also be said that Mick Barr is a badass motherfucker all over this album. "Agony in collective ignorance/Called upon by thyself/Thyself being a part of all life/In the sickness/Quarantined in pure paranoia" Pretty prophetic, right? bcb723
